The Creator's instruction, His covenant, is not old!
"Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments;" (Deu 7:9)
Moses spoke the words above shortly before his death. There have been about 140 generations since that time.
Judaism, Christianity and Islam all understand that the Creator made a solemn covenant with Israel at Mt. Sinai. This covenant was an agreement, which required Israel and their descendents to live according to a particular code of conduct. In return, the Creator promised to prosper and protect the children of Israel and give them the land of Canaan. The nation of Israel occupies that land today.
Basic terms of the Sinai Covenant, also known as His Covenant:
Honor no other gods
Make no Idols
Don't misappropriate my name
Honor My Sabbath
Honor your parents
Don't murder
Don't steal
Don't commit adultery
Don't be a false witness
Don't yearn for another’s possessions
Christianity generally teaches that this covenant is obsolete and has been forsaken by the Creator, even though they hold most of it in high regard. Yet today, against what must be overwhelming odds, the nation of Israel occupies the land promised to them if they followed this covenant.
Certainly they have not occupied this land very long in modern times. Indeed the Hebrew scriptures warned that if they did not follow the code agreed upon, they would be scattered throughout the world. Certainly, that has been the case. However, the Hebrew scriptures also promised that the children of Israel would not be completely forsaken, but would be returned to their land in what it calls the latter or last days. (Deu 4:30, Ho 3:5)
"Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple." (Rev 11:19a)
Considering Christianity says His covenant is obsolete, it seems odd that the container, the ark, in which it is kept is located in such a prominent position inside God's temple in heaven to this day. If Christianity thinks it is obsolete, how can they explain how Israel was able to establish a nation in exactly the place their Creator promised He would give them?
Exactly what is this covenant the Creator made with Israel? If He rejected that covenant how is it that Israel is in the land they were promised as part of that covenant? Why is that covenant in the temple of heaven to this day? Why does Christianity believe that it is old? What did they miss?
Understanding this covenant can open the thinking of the Creator to you. The terms of this covenant were spoken directly by Him to the people of ancient Israel at His only known scheduled personal appearance. He also wrote them on stone; the only document we have record of Him writing Himself. Can any other standard match that weight?
